By C. Cruz
I love the 8 O'clock Columbian brand ground coffee, so I thought I would try the K-cup. The coffee was weak and thin. Then I started to look at the actual amount of coffee in each K-cup of various brands.I found that the amount of coffee is most K-cups are between 0.33 oz to 0.37 oz, whereas Starbucks' K-cups contain 0.42 oz of coffee. This would explain why most coffees taste weak. Some packages don't even give amt. of coffee, just the number of k-cups.I actually held up the two types I had and can see that SB's had a 1/3 more of coffee. So, unless you like weak coffee, or have a machine that makes 6 oz. cup of coffee, I would recommend that you stick with Starbucks, Or...buy one of the really great re-usable k-cups which allow you put put in enough coffee for a really good cup of your favorite brand.

I found this coffee at Publix, but when I check here vs. other websites, it's expensive here. Walmart has it for .50/cup

I saw this kcup elsewhere but it was not in stock. I failed to check price here before placing order. I have no idea why this is priced more than Starbucks. The flavor is too mellow for my taste and certainly not worth buying at $1/kcup.
