100% Kona Pure Ecstasy combines two types of estate-grown pure Kona coffee beans. Fifty percent of each bag is made up of Kona coffee beans grown at higher elevations (Graded: - Kona #1) and roasted dark, while the other half is light-roasted Kona coffee beans grown on lower slopes (Graded: - Kona Fancy). All the beans that go into each bag are 100% Hawaiian coffee, selectively hand-picked and wet-processed by dedicated farmers on small estates across the Kona coffee growing region. Kona Coffee growing and production are strictly controled by the Hawaiian DOA. Each bag of green Kona coffee is graded by the DOA. The grades in the descending order of their value are: Kona Fancy (Top Grade), Kona #1, Kona Prime (Lowest acceptable grade) and finally Kona #3 (unacceptable - OFF GRADE Kona Coffee). If you are buying Kona beans and the grade is Not Specified, you are most likely buying the Unacceptable Off Grade Kona. We offer six varieties of the highest-grade 100% Kona coffee beans available.
